Stunning antique French gilt brass pocket watch holder in the Napoleon III style, crafted with an amber-tinted footed glass bowl and a hinged beveled glass lid framed by a beaded gilt rim. A romantic survivor of the late 19th-century vanity, it rests on gracefully scrolled tripod legs and is crowned by a circular crimson velvet display back made to cradle a treasured pocket watch.
